As the world market leader for controllable solid propellant ramjet propulsion systems and a centre of excellence for solid propellant and gas-dynamic propulsion systems, Bayern-Chemie makes an important contribution to the security of Germany and its allies.

Our company is also a competent partner for military and civilian customers regarding the use of high-tech rocket propulsion systems in relevant future scenarios - whether on land, at sea, in the air or in space.

We are deeply connected to the Aschau am Inn site. With its extensive production, development and testing facilities, it offers ideal conditions for the approximately 230 employees of Bayern-Chemie, which includes engineers, scientists, technicians and a large number of skilled workers.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of MBDA, Bayern-Chemie is the centre of excellence for rocket propulsion systems within the Group. At the same time, the plant in Aschau is largely independent. In this way, we combine the innovative strength, flexibility and responsiveness of a medium-sized company with flat hierarchies with the clout, professionalism and sustainability of a globally networked group.
